Rental Process

Step 1: CHOOSE YOUR DRESS

You can browse our online site, which has a huge range of rental dresses or come visit our store and pick a dress for a fraction of the retail price!

Step 2: ORDER OR PICK UP

We want our brides to all have the opportunity to try on their favorite #emdress which has swept them off their feet. Hence, we suggest locking in your appointment as soon as possible.

All bookings are made via our Rental Enquiry on this page.

Once an online booking is submitted, our team member will contact you to confirm your appointment.

Step 3: RETURN YOUR DRESS

After your event, simply return the dress to us by dropping it off at our flagship store in Petersham NSW 2049. No need for dry cleaning, we do all that for you!

It’s JUST that simple! Please note:

  • Fitting consultations and appointment are essential and cost $50 which is redeemable at rental of a dress.
  • Hiring cost includes dry-cleaning AND alterations (if needed)
  • Hiring period is 05 days only. Late returns attract a late fee of 10% of the hire price per day that the return is late, after the last day of booking
  • 30% deposit of total invoice is required in order to lock-in the dates. Once this quote is accepted, customer agrees that deposit is not refundable due to any circumstances.
  • There’s a bond security required when pick-up which is refundable when the dress has been returned
  • Please make allowance in your budget for these alterations:
    • Tough stains that required special cleaning/washing
    • Tears/scratches that required alterations/replacement
      Big damage or dress missing will cause the bond is non-refundable
      (Customers agree not to attempt to clean the dress, if the customer attempts to clean the dress and it results in permanent damage, additional costs may incur.)

Purchase Process

STEP 1: CHOOSE & CUSTOMISE YOUR DRESS
Once you have chosen your dream dress, from your dress’ page, click ‘Add to cart’. The page will ask you to select your general size AND your choose colour (in some cases) as well as all your other desirable detailing.

STEP 2: CONFIRMING YOUR ORDER
Once we have received your order, we’ll match you to the generic sizing of our size chart and we’ll send you an email discussing all your special requests.

STEP 3: FREE SHIPPING IS ON US!
Em Bridal Boutique offers COMPLIMENTARY delivery on all our dresses within Australia. Please note that production time can take up to 03 months. Please contact us if you wish to order in shorter time frame. Rush orders can incur a $250 fee.

STEP 4: WEAR YOUR LOVE!
Once you’ve received your dress, alterations/tweaks can sometime be expected for that perfect fit. Contact us how we can help for your stress-free journey with your #emdress.

How To Measure

To properly measure your dress size, you may want to wear form-fitted clothes and have your hair up.

Caring for your precious gown

You finally said “YES” to the perfect dress, one of the most special garments you’ll ever wear – the one you will say “I do” in.

And it’s everything you have ever dreamt of – an exquisite gown with layers and layers of delicate fabrics and exotic trims all wrapped up in one stunning timeless style that flatters your figure.

Let’s take a few minutes to read through our ‘Care & Clean Guide’ to find out all the tips and tricks to making sure your beautiful dress lasts forever.

  • HANG your gown as high as possible when you get home, perhaps a doorframe. Leave in the bag to prevent dust or bugs from landing on your gown.
  • AVOID storing your bridal gown in the attic or basement where there are extreme changes in temperature or humidity as this may discolour your gown.
  • STEAM your gown ONLY if your gown needs it! If you can’t access to a clothing steamer, you can also use an iron with care. Please be sure to use a white, flat sheet of fabric as a protection between the clean sole plate of your iron and your gown. A low heat setting with no steam for chiffon and laces. Medium heat for satin and stretchy fabrics. Higher heat may be used on cotton and linen but must be done quickly and with the protecting cloth.
  • DRY CLEAN ONLY because your dress is so precious. On the big day, you will probably encounter many occurrences of drink spills, food, makeup or dirt (especially along the hem line). The best advice is to take it to a professional dry cleaner as soon after the Wedding Day as possible. This will enable the dry cleaner to treat such stains without extra hard work.

Below is the quickest and best delivery estimation for your region.

Shipping within New South Wales usually takes 05 business days from the dispatch day.

Shipping to other states of Australia usually takes up to 10 business days from the dispatch day.

Please note, em Bridal Boutique is not responsible for any delays caused by Australia Post.

If the receiver gives the courier authority to deliver without a signature or the receiver gives the courier authority to leave, we are not held liable in the event the parcel goes missing. Em Bridal Boutique will not be able to refund or remake or resend the item(s). We appreciate your understanding.

Return & Refund Policy

RETURNS:

We understand the importance of your big day and we want our brides to be 100% stress-free when ordering a gown from us.

We guarantee all of our dresses arrive exactly as they are describe on our website. Therefore, we don’t offer refunds on just simply change of heart or wrong choice of sizes or colours.

When sending in your measurements, please ensure all the numbers are accurate; we are not responsible if the measurements you gave us is incorrect. If you plan to manage your weight, please email us for sizing recommendation.

If on a rare occasion that you believe our products might be faulty or there is a misrepresentation of the product, you can return the item(s) back to us and we will examine to provide you the best solution. Please note: Customers are responsible for their postage fee when returning a product.

We do not accept return, refund or exchange on off-the-rack sale items or items on promotions.

 

CANCELLATIONS:

  • Bespoke items:

We understand that sometimes a bride will CHANGE HER MIND before she receives her dress. If this is you, please remember that the production of your dress begins as soon as your deposit is paid, after which you can either:
Forfeit the 50% deposit and Em Bridal Boutique retains your dress; or
Pay the total invoice and we will send you the finished dress.

  • Hiring items, purchases on item off-the-rack and items on promotions:

We require a minimum 30% deposit of total invoice at the beginning in order to lock-in the dates. If you wish to cancel your purchase after the deposit is paid we only offer refund on store credit.
