Before founding Em Bridal, Katy built her understanding of bridal beauty from the ground up — working as a hair and makeup artist, she observed hundreds of brides and understood, with rare intimacy, what makes a woman feel extraordinary on her wedding day. That vantage point — from the chair, not just the sketchpad — is what makes Em Bridal different.
A lifelong love of creativity and craft, combined with a background spanning fashion production and product development, gave Katy the technical foundation to build a label that doesn’t compromise on beauty or accessibility. Her ambition for Em Bridal extends far beyond Sydney — with a British Vogue real bride feature in 2024 marking just the beginning of a global chapter.
